Xavier Lepers completed a master's degree in applied economics and a doctorate in management science at the University of Paris-Dauphine as a research assistant and then as an ATER. His thesis on the exchange relations between large-scale distribution and its suppliers was defended in 2003 under the supervision of Professor Bernard de Montmorillon. In 2004, Xavier Lepers was appointed Associate Professor at the University of Bordeaux.
In 2018, he joined the Cnam where he is in charge of the "Management and Management Control" course of the DSGC. His research focuses on the articulation between the economic and social dimensions of the exchange between the stakeholders of the organization.
