Emmanuel Caillaud is a University Professor at the CNAM (EPN Strategies) since January 2022. He was a lecturer at the École des Mines d'Albi from 1994 to 2000 and then a University Professor at the University of Strasbourg from 2002 to 2021. He has an engineering background (ENI of Tarbes, 1990) completed by a PhD thesis in the framework of a CIFRE agreement on design knowledge (University of Bordeaux, 1995). He defended a Habilitation to Direct Research in 2000 entitled "knowledge and skills in industrial companies" (INPT, 2000).
Emmanuel Caillaud has held various responsibilities such as: director of a university department, vice-president of a university, director of an engineering school, scientific advisor in embassies. He is an expert for the HCERES and the FNEGE. Within LIRSA, Emmanuel Caillaud is a member of the SPID team (Strategy, Prospective, Innovation, Development).
