Professional career of Yves Jégourel
Yves Jégourel defended his thesis in economics in 2000 and his habilitation to direct research in 2011 at the University of Bordeaux. He previously graduated from the University of Nantes and Middlesex University (London). He is now Professor of the Chair of Commodity Economics and Sustainable Transitions at the CNAM and a member of the Lirsa, after having been a lecturer and then a university professor. He is also co-director of CyclOpe, a research firm dedicated to the analysis of global commodity markets. Within the field of commodity economics, he works on the question of the real integration of gas markets, the dynamics of mineral resource prices in the context of the environmental transition, as well as on the characterization of the phenomenon of financialization.
