Karim Kilani defended his thesis in economics entitled "Dynamics of markets with adaptive preferences and differentiated products" at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in 1995 under the supervision of Jacques Lesourne. He previously graduated from the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Economique (ENSAE, 1987) and holds a DEA in random modeling in finance (Jussieu Paris 7, 1988). He was in charge of statistical studies for two years in the field of advertising (J.W. Thompson) and in marketing (SORGEM). He is currently a lecturer at Cnam and a member of Lirsa. He works on the theory of discrete choice models in microeconomics and econometrics. He is a referee for journals such as Economics Letters and international journals in transportation.
