Grégory Claeys has been a researcher at the Brussels think tank Bruegel since 2014, and an associate professor at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers since 2015, where he teaches macroeconomics and international finance. His research work focuses on monetary and fiscal policies and European economic governance, and more generally on macroeconomics and international finance. Previously, he was a visiting researcher in the financial research department of the Central Bank of Chile in Santiago, an economist in the research department of Crédit Agricole in Paris and a lecturer at Sciences Po. He holds a PhD in economics from the European University Institute in Florence, a master's degree in economics from the University of Paris X and is a graduate of HEC.
